Bruh Nas isn't going anywhere.

The agent is just a FW. Finally got himself a star player and a moment in the sunshine.

This is more about him lining his pockets than it is about Nas.

Look at Ross in the most recent presser, he's so over talking about it and has taken a number of swipes at the agent, as has Carl.

Even Nas' family want him to stay because they can see how supported he is here, he isn't going anywhere.

It's just a power play from a C grade agent.

The website that they link to in their IG/Twitter bio doesn't even work. They haven't paid for the hosting.

That website is different to the one they use on the AFLPA page that lists all the accredited agents - the website listed on this page also doesn't work.

Nas isn't going anywhere and hopefully when this is all over he finds himself some new representation.
NAS will never be worth more than he is today.

Good business would be to sign the 10-year deal. Then, if a club wants him in two years or he wants out, he can look for a trade but still have the security of the big contract. Means the club is looked after and NAS is set for life.

So what...you sign a two-year deal, do a knee around Round 15 of 2027, then try to get to Port on the same money you had at the Saints? Not going to happen.

NAS should be speaking to whoever manages Kosi Pickett. His current manager clearly has no idea.

I genuinely will be shocked if he leaves for all of the above reasons. As RTB mentioned in the presser, he has had alot of support from the club. I'm sure he would understand that a key reason he is now a top 3 player in the AFL is due to that support.

Think about it.

If you were an agent of any substance, you would know that his value is absolutely at its peak. Even if he wins the Brownlow this year, there is only so much you can realistically pay a single player and Nas will be on it.

Your client is obviously happy at the club, is supported at the club, has a core group of close mates and is revered by the fans and now even has the media absolute in love with him - a rare feat for any recent St.Kilda player.

He is the star of the show, if he goes to Adelaide - he has to fit in and establish himself among Dawson, Rankine, Thilthorpe etc

If he goes to Port he has to do the same with Rozee JHF, Butters etc.

Nas has wanted midfield time and now he's got it. He has the license to basically do whatever he pleases on the footy field with us, because he is our star. You don't necessarily get that if you move clubs.

On top of all this, if you want to discuss the home sickness... we're now talking about a multi millionaire. He can pay to have them come and stay out here, he can have them move over, he can go back and visit anytime he wants - You don't think the club would grant him time to go back home at different points in the season and skip a training here or there?

And above all, if you really cared for your client and not your own back pocket - you have your clients legacy piece. With the way Nas has played this year and consistently progressed across his career so far, he has a genuine shot at St.Kilda legend status - that's without even winning a flag.

If he wins the flag, image the legacy. It's not the same if he does that at Port or Adelaide.

The agent is just an ex reality tv FW.

Hope so

1000000000000%

I doubt Max King has any regrets about signing that long term deal

His management has recently relocated to Melbourne and have been trying to diversity their roster so its not just Perth based.

Same people said Liam Henry would never leave WA

Remind me again who his management is?

I don't think wce will release him and will offer him more money but the idea he will never leave isn't true IMO
Liam Henry was talked about leaving all through 2023.
Maybe not zero chance he leaves but 0.05%

O god, this just gives more credence to him being a massive campaigner
His wife also has a pretty decent media profile. Her uncle Barrie Robran passed away a fortnight ago- hence Ben was dealing with a family matter the other week.

Anthony Van Der Wielen is Kozis manager

I cannot understand why we are not lobbying to be part of the Dreamtime game next year? Why do Richmond and Essendon have a monopoly on this? We should definitely be considered for this game next year based purely on the proactive work we do and the nurturing of Indigenous talent.

big freeze day
good friday

aside from melbourne on big freeze day due to neale daniher, why have 2 clubs got the monopoly on all these games?
absolute bullshit and we should be screaming about that along with nepo babies,

in fact i think more so,screaming about nepo babies though admirable, probably hands pies/cats/hawks/dogs their next flag sooner rather than later,a true st.kilda irony, dont know about anyone else, but i would rather watch the flag and cup f off to brisbane perth adelaide or sydney, than watch other assorted victorian filth win it

I’m a few pages behind, so I apologise if this has been mentioned.

But the term Bongo Bucks is used to describe huge wads of cash. For example, if someone gets a massive pay rise they may say “I’m now making Bongo Bucks”.

It’s one of those terms that has gone out of fashion in recent times.

Windhager was presumably using it in a social media post to infer that NWM will be getting a lot more money in his next contract.
Yes exactly St Neil that’s how I remember it. It was used around the bayside suburbs at least, that’s where I lived and Windhager and Owens are bayside boys. Slang was often quite local before mobile phones and social media,

Lets be real there is no way Carlton would be keen to off load Walsh if they thought his body was sound and he could get back to playing at his best again. It just has enormous flashing lights 'buyers beware' for me.

I would not be against off loading Collard if WCE are interested, but considering Ryan after everything else the club has done would be counter productive. We took on Macrae last year and although he has been good, I think by the end of his 3 year contract the club will be regretting again looking for the quick fix. Ryan would be the same you will get a couple of decent games out of him and then be again looking for a replacement.

If what we read is true we are open to moving on Rowan Marshall and/or Jack Steele for the exact same reasons WCE would be offloading Ryan.

Please no more quick fixes Saints!
Recruits like Macrae aren’t necessarily quick fixes, they’re stop gaps until the kids are ready to take over.

Not to mention the influence that a premiership player like Jack can have on a young list.

Because i know my opinion is the only one that truly matters to SOS and co.

Walsh - Youd be mad not to look at him, when fit and firing he was a ****ing star. Every ****ing thing on the planet thats navy blue is apparently in a fire sale at the moment so i cant see any truth to the rumors of him wanting out but if so, sure take a squiz. We have all been crying out for Midfielders for a decade but now we dont want this one?

Ryan - I dont love it personally, i weirdly like the look of our forward line moving in 26 if fit but i also have confidence in the current admin from a list management POV as well. If they think it make sense ill back them even if i dont personally see it.

Aleer - Hits the sweet spot of need and age. Salary isnt offensive ($750k will be close to the new average, maybe a bit over) when the cap increases anyway.

TDK - Im still pretty cold on him as a player but i see what he represents, we have to get it done at this point and i hope hes worth the cash.
good post,

agree with one acception=Ryan, but if it is to appease Naz,either he is a mate,or its part of a package being put together to shoot up the ladder to keep Naz due to fact we are contending=im on board in that circumstance

Walsh-i dont believe the crap i read here about not wanting him, with your last line on him in mind, sure do the medical, but ffs get him on board if there is a chance

other two are no brainers & obviously we have gone too far with TDK now to even consider going back on him,for numerous reasons, starting with we might want to recruit another player from another club at some point & who would want us if we left TDK in the lurch now

His wife also has a pretty decent media profile.
His wife does a Winter Breakfast Radio show on FIVEAA in Adelaide.

Last radio ratings had FIVEAA coming in around 4th or 5th spot...

...If only there was a way to potentially try and boost the radio ratings AND boost her own individual media profile... If only there was a way to do that.

Wait on.. what if our company has the most talked about out of contract player AFL player on their books... that is consistently linked back to THE VERY demographic of our radio show.

There is no way we would selfishly want to drag out the process as long as possible.

going off Morris article ryan is chance for saints or bombers, also says tsatas hobbs and perkins(wont mention the other dickhead)possibly on way out

how about
ryan to essendon
collard to eagles
hobbs tsatas or perkins to saints

can we see anything in any of those three?as i agree with several here up to the post im quoting,i dont want Ryan either & these 3 are at least in the age demographic we desire
Perkins is the only one I’d look at.

Like I said, the source is tenuous but a real one though it is third hand.

The club acknowledged they could have done more in the Battle process and had 'learnt' from last year, so by their own admission, they have failed to do everything they could in the past.

For me, the more concerning factor is the lack of 'imminent signing' information. I hope I am very wrong.

The invitation to others to share who may know different is there. Again happy to be wrong
sorry mate you may have missed it but the imminent signing message was 'bongos for longer' we're just waiting for the announcement next Tuesday at this point

I’d keep Stocker, surprised if they let him go to he’s a prototype of a Ross Lyon player.

Agree. If we sign NAS though, let's tick off Dreamtime game so we can continue to showcase Indigenous talent.

Essendon Indigenous players - 2 (1 was ex-Saints) Richmond Indigenous players - 2

St Kilda - 6
No club does more than we do off field in this space

We as a collective are proud of this

Not sure how the AFL can ignore this.

I think he'll sign a deal (if he stays) that is 8 or 9 total, if not more, but options to opt out every 2 or 3 years, similar to josh kellys
