As it currently stands …
2025
1. Jack Silvagni
3. Jesse Motlop
11. Mitch McGovern
12. Tom De Koning
14. Orazio Fantasia
15. Sam Docherty
17. Brodie Kemp
26. Nick Haynes
31. Harry Lemmey
34. Rob Monahan (International Rookie Cat B)
38. Will White (Pre-Season SSP Rookie 2025) ?
39. Alex Cincotta (Pre-season SSP 2023)
41. Matt Duffy (International Rookie Cat B) ?
44. Francis Evans (Pre-Season SSP Rookie 2025) ?
45. Flynn Young (MSD Rookie 2025) ?
So 9 off the primary list and 1 Cat A Rookie and 2 Cat B Rookies?
thats a lot of players to replace in a single off-season.
Haven't Port shown some interest? If we delist him, I'd guess he's Port boundIf Lemmey is delisted expect him to be offered a rookie spot
White and Flynn were listed due to Jagga and Kemp's injuries.9 Primary lists players OOC
3 Cat A rookies OOC
2 Cat B rookies OOC
We need to have 3 primary list spots open for the National Draft.
1. Jack Silvagni - gone?
3. Jesse Motlop -
11. Mitch McGovern
12. Tom De Koning -gone?
14. Orazio Fantasia - 50/50
15. Sam Docherty - retired
17. Brodie Kemp
26. Nick Haynes
31. Harry Lemmey - 50/50
If Silvagni and TDK both go, with Doc's retirement we technically wouldn't need to delist anyone else. I think Fantasia and Lemmey's fate might be tied to our free agents.
Motlop, Haynes and Kemp will be retained (unless we get a great offer for Motlop). McGovern could be good depth on the "rookie" list if we do delist him.
Cat A rookies:
38. Will White (Pre-Season SSP Rookie 2025)
39. Alex Cincotta (Pre-season SSP 2023)
44. Francis Evans (Pre-Season SSP Rookie 2025)
45. Flynn Young (MSD Rookie 2025)
Does Cincotta need to be elevated or delisted now?
Evans 100% gets another year at least.
Happy to keep the other 2 for another season.
Cat B rookies:
34. Rob Monahan (International Rookie Cat B)
41. Matt Duffy (International Rookie Cat B)
No idea. But if we get rid of both of them, how does that affect our list makeup? Can we add additional players to the primary list? We only have the minimum number of primary list players at the moment.

One from way left field.I'd also love to see Walsh take over the captaincy next year from Crippa.
He’s arranging the evening’s shenanigansOne from way left field.
I’ve always wondered about Kemps leadership skills.
When playing, I’ve noticed he’s often the one talking to the boys when they’re in a huddle.
Possibly, I’ve always found it interesting. He’s arranging the evening’s shenanigans
Wouldn’t trade curnow. No matter what.So a gun young ruckman and a Coleman medalist for 1 good mid yeah nah I'd want alot more than that coming back
lord's development has doomed Cincotta - which is deeply sadCinc's limitations are clear, we cant hold a player whos only role is a lock down tagger. We learnt with Ed Curnow that modern footy doesnt have room for this type of player anymore. Lemmey just looks that far off it that its hard to see it turning, have to cut the chord eventually.
This is the thing, if we’re looking at some run and disposal out of the back half, Cinc is an option that can use both the left & right boot (can miss targets but does look good most of the time) & can defend. That’s just incorrect. He’s a half back with good defence and offence.
Boyd is contracted so belongs in the below list with Binns, LY & Fogarty.Who I think are strong chance to depart:
Docherty - retired
De Koning - exiting via free agency
Silvagni - exiting via free agency
Acres - traded (3rd rounder?)
McGovern - exiting via free agency. (would like him to stay as back-line cover for 12 months)
Fantasia - delisted
Lemmey - delisted
Cincotta - delisted
Boyd - delisted
White - delisted / maybe rookie'd.
Duffy - delisted
Monahan - delisted.
I think the club may even look at contracted players in Jaxon Binns, Lewis Young and Lachie Fogarty and see if they can move their deals onto another club. Fogarty & Binns in particular.
Expecting MOTLOP, EVANS, HAYNES, KEMP, FLYNN YOUNG, WILSON to be given 1-2 year contracts.
Boyd as well. This is the thing, if we’re looking at some run and disposal out of the back half, Cinc is an option that can use both the left & right boot (can miss targets but does look good most of the time) & can defend.
Can we not use SOS and Gov money to pump up TDKs offer?Boyd is contracted so belongs in the below list with Binns, LY & Fogarty.
Cat B’s for Monahan & Duffy (who assumed has another year). Need to persist with our program to give these guys a true shot.
Wilson has already been given another year.
I'm sure we can but I wouldn't, not because I don't want TdK to stay but because we must stick to our salary structures and adhere to the rankings. This is important for team culture and morale. Can we not use SOS and Gov money to pump up TDKs offer?
Only 5. There are so many to choose from though.Lets put the min at 7 and go for 10White and Flynn were listed due to Jagga and Kemp's injuries.
Have to remove a minimum of 5.
Absolutely. Probably not about if we can match, but just how irresponsible it would be to match. To put it in perspective, if the reported offer for TDK is true, not only would he be the highest paid player on our list by a fair margin, he would be on equal to Patrick Cripps and Charlie Curnow reported combined salaries.I'm sure we can but I wouldn't, not because I don't want TdK to stay but because we must stick to our salary structures and adhere to the rankings. Walshy is going nowhere!!!
Right on. I've said it many times and it's fallen on deaf ears but with the exception of Crippa and only just over, our top 4 or 5 aren't earning more than 1m. That's good management and we can build with another 2 'guns' at that price but we need to get our culture and club mentality right. That is our biggest issue at this minute.Absolutely. So TDK salary = same as Captain with a brownlow medal and five club best and fairests, and the Vice captain with two Coleman medals.
Walshy is going nowhere!!!
Saad has to be traded or retiredHere are the players that I feel are in trouble and that's not including TdK or JSoS, although I feel these 2 are done.
Docherty (Retired)
McGovern (Trade)
Acres (Trade)
Fantasia
Fogarty
Binns
White
