Yes, but to be eligible for the SSP, you need to nominate for the most recent national draft (as far as I'm aware).

A full preseason with the clubs main squad, get a chance to observe him, then assess his performance & progress from there…

Treloar is a good culture guy. Would be a good step into coaching for him to come across.

We're going to have some cap space that needs filling in the short term. Wouldn't mind working a minor trade with the Dogs if they were up for it. Something that doesn't impact our FA compensation but also helps them out.

Win-win.

It seems he will be delisted, so I don’t think that risks anything.

I love a bit of Jones chat, I haven’t watched him this year but quite a few have said he’s cooked, so I had a look at his numbers, no drop off in disposals or marks compared to other years.

I think he's been a high quality impact mid across his career, but are we overstating his foot skils in here? By like a lot?

Love the kid but he is about 5 foot 8. Same local club as Brent Daniels who goes alright at about the same height.

Sorry I wrote the wrong Thompson. Max is under 16s and looks an absolute gun mid/hbf.

Nick Thompson is the one I was meant to say. 191cm KPF with Caddy like athleticism and an absolute campaigner to a tee on the field.

His 2024 stats are pretty good with inside 50 and GA, maybe 2 goals a game is expecting too much, but;

He's pretty much Hewett if he was a better kick and not quite as good defensively.

Personally feel like we'll just back in Lord and Cerra to fill that spot post Hewett and Cripps. Need a POD with some real dynamism.
