I actually thought this might have been the hidden value we were chasing.

Like given the potential number of academy picks, uncertainty over how many selections we might want, etc, we might have put a value on having time to reassess and hold the first pick of day 2.

But yeah, on face value we're holding Brisbane's first now and ironically trading first pick of the second round, so that clearly isn't it..

Everyone is saying Whan after 40 is a given.

Are we even using pick 19??

Will we just look to move 19 for a F1 with someone??

23 is fine for McVee BUT first pick of second round isn’t as fine (yes, I know it’s still 23) That has historically held a premium. Clubs reassess and it can come with decent bids.

We’ve stuffed this on so many levels.

19 to 28
Mcvee for 32-35
33 to 45

So it’s going to be
Pick 19 and 45 for 28 and 32(Mcvee)
It’s really not that bad of a deal once it’s all said and done
