IMO, the only way we’re involved in NWM is helping to set the price. Where there is smoke, there is fire. He isn’t coming. It’s Saints or Port.

The injury status might be an issue, but I think if he is playing regularly he's a pretty big upgrade on ROB.

Well, I think it pretty clearly upgrades the ruck position - but only if you're comparing them both when they're fit, and there has to be some risk around Marshall's fitness.

Well, he had wrist surgery at the end of last year and a pelvis stress fracture at the start of this year. There's been rumours the last couple of months that he's carrying additional injuries, but he seems to be pushing through. I guess this time of year most players are playing with some kind of niggle.

No I'm saying without Butts we have to play Murray and our depth is Borlase. We probably need another KPD after that.

So it causes a problem, but I'd do it if that offer was on the table. (Which it won't be, cos the Saints would want more).

I just don't get the bad vibes on Borlase. Almost every time he has come in, he has been ok and done his job. I like him as a player ad i'd trust him to play FB or CHB for us. Maybe the only real knock is his height as he is shorter than the others, but he can play.
