It was an example, but yes I'd also rather keep Butts. It was more a "I doubt we're going to be tight for list spots" example.

Why. He is under contract and there are at least 2 clubs..north and the dogs actively after him. But afyer last night why would you want him out?. Keane had a horrid finals series and butts is the obvious replacement and we know he is up to it

I dont want him out at all, but not many key defenders would warrant a top 20 pick, much less ones who cant crack their sides AFL side.

Schoenberg, Cook, scholl, berry move on for whatever we can take. Been there, done that. Didn't work.
Tex, Smith, Murphy, burgess, crouch retire or otherwise get out of there asap so we are never tempted to pick again (crouch has made the call for us on that one thank christ).

Im holding onto Cook, there's just talent there you cant teach.

Yes hes had a while, but he came into the system with very little competitive footy behind him.

Its just what do you do to suitably replace butts if you did get that pick 20 (which will slide right out with bids)?. My thought was to try and work Toby Pink in on any deal with north as he can play and would be servicable back up and then sort of solves that dilemma. But others don't think pink is the answer and thats fine

there was talk we had shown interest and if we areserious we'd need to make it a very attractive offer. He can play and he'd improve us absolutely imo

Does anyone remember the circumstances around the 2019 draft? Is it right that Sydney were locked in on Dylan Stephens? I remember it being said that if GC didn't get the priority pick, we would have taken Noah Anderson???? Was this actually a possibility?
