That was for incident number 2 where they didn't touchStewards do though because he got a 10 second penalty for keeping his position via the run off area because he wasn't far enough ahead.
Pretty sure they didThat was for incident number 2 where they didn't touch
How long do we continue to think that? It's clearly an absolute pig to drive for anyone not named Max.Being fair to Yuki would be holding him to the same standards as a regular driver instead of the excuses constantly being made for him. Yes Max is a freak and will obviously be expected to get better results but there is no way in hell that the 2nd RB is a lower midfield car.
Pretty much. How long do we continue to think that? It's clearly an absolute pig to drive for anyone not named Max.
It's like driving a shopping trolley with a wonky front wheel, propelled by a 1000 hp engine. How long do we continue to think that? It's clearly an absolute pig to drive for anyone not named Max.
The longer this goes on, the better Perez is looking.Pretty much.
Perez, Liam and Yuki arent all rubbish drivers, in fact they're all fairly talented. Sergio might have been past his best but he was by no means as bad as he was made out to be.
Max is just able to get things out of the car that very few in the history of the sport have been able to do
Even Max said he shouldnt have done it, which has never happened. You know Max messed up when even Helmut Marko says he was out of line.
That dude is the biggest enabler of Max there is.
yeah that was a lot coming from Max. Yet still missing an outright apology, but take what we can get I suppose.Even Max said he shouldnt have done it, which has never happened.
No need to apologise IMO, if you make a mistake sure.... but if you do something pretty deliberate you're never going to apologise.yeah that was a lot coming from Max. Yet still missing an outright apology, but take what we can get I suppose.
Not sure he'd listen to anyone else TBH, history tells us apologies for deliberate acts on a race track dont happen often.I wonder how much of that is Max himself or someone getting in Max's ear, saying he needed to acknowledge it.
How many of the greats deliberately drove into someone petulantly. I know some will of but most won't have.No need to apologise IMO, if you make a mistake sure.... but if you do something pretty deliberate you're never going to apologise.
None of the greats ever apologise.
Quite a few of the "GOAT candidates" have TBH. Perhaps not petulantly, but theyve taken calculated gambles. How many of the greats deliberately drove into someone petulantly. I know some will of but most won't have.
Not in an act of petulance, they didn't.Quite a few of the "GOAT candidates" have TBH. Perhaps not petulantly, but theyve taken calculated gambles.
I think you mean the opposite for Schumacher and Hill. It was absolutely instinctive in the moment, was Schumacher expecting to hit the wall the corner before? Hill was alongside and he reacted. Same with hitting Villeneueve in Jerez 1997.Not in an act of petulance, they didn't.
Senna driving into Prost, and Schumacher driving Hill off the track were both pre-meditated moves. They were not instinctive decisions, following an emotional outburst.
He also remembered Prost shutting the door on him in 89, and all that happened after.I think you mean the opposite for Schumacher and Hill. It was absolutely instinctive in the moment, was Schumacher expecting to hit the wall the corner before? Hill was alongside and he reacted. Same with hitting Villeneueve in Jerez 1997.
Senna into Prost in Suzuka was premeditated based on the FIA overruling the stewards and not putting P1 on the grid on the racing line (still doesn't justify it)
Max's drive into Russell was pre-medidated, he had half a lap to decide what he wanted to do.
Hall monitor is such a great nicknameHe also remembered Prost shutting the door on him in 89, and all that happened after.
Max just drove into the Hall Monitor, very cold.
I think he'd be one of the frontrunners for the spare Cadillac seat, along with Bottas. The longer this goes on, the better Perez is looking.
That full power tail snap into the straight after the SC was a wicked catch and to not overcorrect while still on full beans was just nuts.Pretty much.
