I think I'm really off Harry Mckay.

27 years old.
Can't kick a basic set shot.

Only goal he kicked tonight was from 15m in front and he had to kick it around the corner and barely made it anyway.

He's the epitome of what this club represents.

Failure.
Yep. Utterly sick to death of his shit.

Walsh looked chunky and slow.

They all looked slow.

Can’t believe we are cooked in round one what a disaster.

We really need no injuries to even be remotely competitive , the depth is so paper thin.

Imagine we get another mid injury, we have literally no one ….Binns? Don’t rate.
He's protecting his back, hammies and I'm sure it hurts going at 100% so this is what we're left with. Same with Cerra and his hammies. Father time is not on Cripps side either. Next year Smith will be a post ACL and will need time. Lord so far is just a workman.

To shake things up,
  • just throw Williams midfield (who gives a fats rats is he gets injured)
  • McGov forward
  • Edwards out for someone who can be used elsewhere or will at least do as much in an unfamiliar spot as a small forward
  • Haynes out
  • Kemp/JSOS keep swinging them around to confuse opponents
  • Can't have 3 useless smalls forwards playing ever again.

Hindsight, our forward line was prob too short and they should have played Moir.
H and Kemp, wasn’t enough height, and with only 1 ruck I think it was a factor late in the game

We actually don't have a single player who can hurt a team from our defensive half. Not a single one.

All we have is a stale, slow movement of the ball before bombing it in to the F50.

We don't have anybody who can punch through an opposition and slice them up. And we can't win a premiership without it.

We are predictable and lacking any serious arsenal in our weaponry.

Not sure if mentioned, but Doc as sub works, but everyone was so bad, that he probably starts...

14 touches in a quarter. Should have had 2 goals too.

You do realise he gave up 3 goals through poor disposal, in 1 qtr of football. 14 touches, what 2 points and 12 turnovers?

He got ragdolled all night long and did NOTHING about it. So physically and mentally weak. Fuming 🤬🤬🤬

Nomcourage?

No courage?flipping lol any player that plays this game at the highest level has an abundance of courage…did you miss the collision with hollands???
Yeah I saw that…you are correct.
Courage comes in different forms. Busting your gut to run and chase for example.

Gov and Haynes both dropped their heads in marking contests expecting contact that didn’t eventuate.
Cottrell jog alongside his opponents to scared to lay a tackle.
Walsh, Doc, and most of the others panic when under any pressure and lose all composure.
So yeah Hollands showed courage in one act, most of the others shat themselves.

Players just crumble under the remote signs of pressure, I'm afraid of what the Hawks will do to us next week

Sam Mitchell is already sitting back smoking cigars.

Jerry Seinfeld Lol GIF

Cripps. Weiters. Thank goodness you're here.

JSOS. Good to have you back. We've missed you.

Huge difference between the Harry we saw tonight and the Harry who was one of the top contested marks in the AFL a few years ago. Makes me wonder if there's some truth to the talk that he's not 100% right now.

Walsh. I'm going to be charitable and assume that was his blowing-out-the-cobwebs game after his recent injury, because otherwise... I don't know.

Kemp. Played a good 15 minutes, but that's not nearly enough.

Haynes. Not going to write him off after a single game, but he'd be looking for a massive improvement next week.

Gov. I wish I could say I was surprised, but I'm just not any more.

As bad as we were for most of the game, we still should have won. Inaccuracy dealt us the death blow.
