Not sure that throwing the kid in the deep end is how to let him learn the game. Also puts a massive pressure on the players around him to cover for him. Maybe just use the off season to teach him the game and then bring him into the vfl next year.

We should be looking to build our whole ruck strategy, if not future team, around Dodson. And getting him to stay beyond next year is huge challenge no.1.

TDK (on massive money) would undoubtedly improve us in the short term, but getting him could very very easily cost us Dodson (for not much in return), which could be a dreadful result for the long term.

Keeping Ro beyond this year (if we get TDK) will presumably make it even less likely that Dodson stays.

Teams like Port with be frothing.

I have zero confidence in SOS navigating us through this situation effectively.

Can’t believe the number of times our players have kicked into the man on the mark. And how often the Sandy players do not contest a mark and allow the Tiger to take a chest mark. Game tightening up after the Tigers broke away with a load of easy goals. Sandy have really dropped their heads.
