Squiggle tips Cats at 78% chance -- What's your tip? -- Injury Lists » -- All Rd 14 Games
What a roaring success that was for Carlton. All three were pretty much toast by the time they got thereWe all know they'll be upset.
That's what it makes it even better.
I was heartbroken when Daisy left us for Blues. Not happy about both Mick's going there. Wasn't thrilled when Wright went there either.
About time we got one back.

Silvagni is miles better than those players, only 2 of whom can actually play key backJeez the carryon over a slow, injury prone and undersized KPD who’s had one good season out of ten is a bit much! Is it due to the fascination around list management? Or the fact he’s currently a Carlton footballer?
Silvagni certainly doesn’t scream a great fit at Collingwood to me and perhaps even a questionable allocation of resources given Ryan, Cochrane, McInnes and TJ are all contracted for at least 2026. It feels a bit like the Doedee move by Brisbane to me.
Prior to this year I would have said no way. He has shown a bit though. I think its likely that Howe will hang them up. I'd rather see Sivagni in the side than Dean or the youngsters (who aren't up to it at the moment imo). And his cost suits our draft pick budget as it curretly stands which is bugger all.Jeez the carryon over a slow, injury prone and undersized KPD who’s had one good season out of ten is a bit much! None of the 4 players listed are guaranteed to make it, and if we’re talking key defence I don’t really know why Ryan is even in the conversation. TJ, maybe given his long arms could play taller, but Ryan, nah.Jeez the carryon over a slow, injury prone and undersized KPD who’s had one good season out of ten is a bit much! It was Twomey who said we had a big fish, who a couple of weeks later (after Rowell re-signed) said we didn't have a big fish.I can understand the thinking behind calling him a “big fish”
He’s a Silvagni. Carlton royalty, going to the arch rival. Which doesn’t happen often
I doubt TJ will ever be strong enough. Even Cochrane is looking more like a runner than a tall. I don't think we've got a kpd coming through.None of the 4 players listed are guaranteed to make it, and if we’re talking key defence I don’t really know why Ryan is even in the conversation. We must have been so close to snagging himIt was Twomey who said we had a big fish, who a couple of weeks later (after Rowell re-signed) said we didn't have a big fish.
Either pure click bait or it was thought that we were going to get Rowell.
My mail was that Rowell was locked in. They were super confident that he would have been playing for us in 2026 as was most of the competitionIt was Twomey who said we had a big fish, who a couple of weeks later (after Rowell re-signed) said we didn't have a big fish.

Just what we neededMy mail was that Rowell was locked in. They were super confident that he would have been playing for us in 2026 as was most of the competition
Agreed, it takes about 4-5 years for a kpd draft pick to fully develop and become a solid contributor or become an A grade talent. We need at least another KPD so I can’t see the harm in chasing a guy that can hold down the position for a few year - and potentially swing forward given in-game needs
And he UFA
Plus, in a weak draft, if he comes across, he’ll only give Carlton 2nd round compo

Rowell rang Fly and thanked him for the offerIf there is any substance to the Rowel rumours, it's good to see the club is targeting midfield 'beasts' to replace Mitchell and help the Daicos bros!
I think the hope is that in essence McInnes would be another 'in'IN: Silvagni
OUT: Howe, Dean
Doesn’t fill me with a whole lot of confidence given the struggles we’ve had for KPD depth this year… in an ideal world, Howe will play on at close to bottom dollar and we delist Dean.
I really hope Howe doesn't retire.Say Howe retires, and one of Frampton/Moore is injured next year. You’re seriously putting your faith in Ryan, Cochrane, McInnes (who will be unavailable for at least half the season), and TJ to play against Cameron, Hogan, Thilthorpe, Darcy, Treacy, etc.
Doesn’t seem sustainable to me.
I “hope” that we’re not basing our end of year trade and FA decisions on hopeI think the hope is that in essence McInnes would be another 'in'
His 1 on 1 work is exactly what we need. He's a free hit and would absolutely improve our defence. I hope we get himI really hope Howe doesn't retire.
But JSOS is a good play either way, I think. Not exciting - but it sures up our talls for the next 4 years - can't rely on kids coming through - most of them don't come through.
I think that's why we're targeting SOSI “hope” that we’re not basing our end of year trade and FA decisions on hope
He's the perfect fit. We can't afford a gun KD and don't have picks to compete for the real gun Defenders. He would come for free and his 1 on 1 work is just as good if not better than the big name Defenders. I hope we get him because we need himThe only concern is the bad injury history for me. He was Carltons best defender in the games he played from what I saw and his athletic traits should do well in our system
