Cameron - first rounder
Hill - 2 first rounders
Bruzzy - pick directly after what would’ve been our first.
This is a big head start in our rebuild and will have us back contending for flags much quicker than if we keep throwing away first rounders for HBF and forward pockets who get picked up late in the draft or even in rookie drafts. All the gun keys and mids are picked with early picks. We need to find a way to regenerate this list or it’s going to be a very very long time til our next flag.
No reason not to.I want us to roll out Houston, Membrey and Perryman after every game to tell the world how fantastic it is to play in front of our massive crowds. Let's milk the hell out of the big recruiting advantage we've got.
Get it through you're head, we're not rebuilding and we're not bottoming out, we're going the Geelong route of reloading on the run. And suggesting bottoming out and gathering early picks leads to teams contending quickly for premierships shows you have really no idea about development and timelines.lol agree. Let them smoke their mushrooms and dream of flipping experienced players for elite youth, it hardly even happens unless it's in their imaginations. The only 1st rounder that Cameron is worth would be the last pick at best in the first round, he turns 30 in July. Maynard would be worth a first rounder but I would put DeGoey on the market over Maynard.
Watching the Geelong game we would struggle to have anything to give for SDK, he is killing it. I don't really know who else would be worth much on the trade table outside the obvious and the ones we are desperate to keep.
I suspect Houston doesn’t have to text anyone this week.No reason not to.
Hopefully it’s in their contracts that they have to text at least 5 AFL mates each week and tell them how good life is now.
If we could get H Reid for Hill, Cameron and a F1st I’d pull the trigger.
Then go after De Koenig as a free agent to play ruck. Frost for a 3rd to fill a hole down back. Free up Moore to play interceptor.
Need to make Richards very sad by smashing his team this week (touch wood). Hopefully he and Bont both hate Bevo as well and come to us for unders.I still want Allen.
When do I want him? Now!
Ed Richards is priority though.

From the Geelong board:
"Apparently Rowell is holding off to see how GC go, it's defintely more in play than what he has made it out to be.
He had meetings over the offseason and according to local ITK mate (for what that is worth) was leaning 70-30 towards going back to Victoria. He and his agent met with Geelong, Collingwood, Dons and Doggies.
As Dimma and the club have sat down and addressed it with him closer to the start of the season he's now more on the 50-50 basis.
Would need to speak to my guy again to see if he can get more info on it but for now don't write it off.
Cats are absolutely up to the eyeballs with a few blokes."
That's not how the market works. Harley Reid is worth a bomb. He's an unbelievable talent. If Darcy and Bobby legitimately want to leave, no way we’d be giving West Coast more than those two for Reid
Darcy Cameron is a Premiership ruckman at peak age yet to hit 30
Bobby is a Norm Smith medal winning small forward who is only 25
Reid is technically still nothing more than potential and promise already demonstrating a potential lack in professionalism and attitude
If anything it would be our two for Harley and I’d want a pick in the second round as well
I don't think their current list would be very expensive.Hopefully they run out of free blocks of land in Geelong to keep throwing at these players soon
Yet somehow still overratedThat's not how the market works. Harley Reid is worth a bomb. He's an unbelievable talent.

They also get Uwland's younger brother, Zeke the freak end of this year and a couple others.Yet somehow still overrated
I think we’re all talking the wrong Suns mid. Humphrey gave a taste of what he can be yesterday and it was pretty ****ing good.
If Rowell sticks around midfield opportunities are going to be slim pickings until Miller takes on a peripheral role so I’d be doing the Membrey, Houston and Perryman “how good is this” rollout on him this year. They’ll be top 4 this year if they don’t get clipped by the injury gods and imagine if they kept Rankine![]()
I saw him play and he is Harley Reid without the need for a fend off. I don't think I've ever seen a junior just shake his hips and break away from tackles like he did. He was also kicking the ball 50mtrs from a standing start. My number 1 pick this yearThey also get Uwland's younger brother, Zeke the freak end of this year and a couple others.

This would be great if it costs us no draft capitalEd Richards is priority this offseason imo.
