Same, but our only play on pick 2 was DC and even that was long odds. In terms of your earlier question on Bob’s value it ain’t much. A guy that’s not attending training is really hard to evaluate because how long will it be until he’s good to go again? If it’s really hard to evaluate the negative impacts then it’s not good news for their value. I’d be thinking salary dump trade cost given he’s owed something in the vicinity of $3.5m through to 2029.

Bobby’s recent issues with attending training won’t factor into his trade value. He’s a top small forward who will attract fair compensation should he request a trade.

Do they $6m over 6 years like him? That’s what I’d be stress testing them on. I suspect he’s contracted through 2026 at least or we’d have probably heard as much on his contract as Nas’.

Absolutely! He’s worth much less while he’s not attending training over a 10 week block of a season than a guy that flipped our season on its head last Friday.

Let’s spin it around and Kai Lohman just stops training out of the blue for the Lions due to personal reasons. After 3 months of basically not fronting up he asks for a trade to Collingwood are you giving up anything much for him when you’ll be paying him circa $800-900k pa? You have no idea if he’s going to ever come good like JUH. This could be the end for Bob because if you aren’t in the head space to train you have no value to a football club.

Like everyone I’m hoping and praying he comes back into the fold. Where I run counter though is with the bizarre angle from some to push him out the door. Nothing good will come of that.

Yes. He is contracted until the end of 2029. The last few years of the contract has reportedly been back ended. Media has reported he will earn between $1.3 to $1.4m per season for the remainder of his contract..... Ouch

Revitalised midfield of Daics, Trac, DeGoey, McReery - has power, explosiveness and speed.

Think if/when Elliot goes Shooter takes the role and HH becomes pressure forward.

If Howe goes Silgvani takes his role.

Trac takes over the elder statesmen when one of Pendles/Sidey retires.

Butters/Rowell comes in FA when the other retires.

I don’t see us falling off a cliff as some do, we revitalise and refresh on the run and stay in the frame.

So getting all of petracca Flanders butters plus Silgvani.

We view mental health as a medical issue these days. Any club would do a medical. You'd need to know the extent of his mental health situation to have a valid opinion either way.

Have you not seen the absolute stream of bullshit from posters? They actually referred to Bob as a sociopath a few days ago.

If I did a sweep of this thread (which I’m not because it’s a bazillion pages long) I bet I’d find at least a dozen posters who want him gone for “derailing our season”.
