If Petracca is back to 100% this year and then nominated us, it would be a hard call.

I think it’s hard not to say Rowell given the age difference if the cost is the same.

We did. In. 2021, we were interested when he would have been a FA in 2022, but he signed a long term contract when dees went up the ladder and we were down.

Dodgy info, but I believe he may have been a sneaky chance to come to us before they snagged a flag

Sounds like we had a chance until the Dees put the golden handcuffs on him.

Reality is that contract value is too big to expect to continue at another club given his age.

Two future firsts for a 30 year old on a million+ is a no-go. You make that kind of trade for an under 25 star, not one who’s only got maybe 2-5 years left in him.

Or you make that trade for an A grader who does only have 2-5 years in him, on the basis they pay some of his salary?
