Yep. The fact that he is even weighing up the offers is a red flag for Carlton fans. Honestly, if it’s 100k more and an extra year he would be stupid to not take it, especially having a young family + his last big contract. Jeez the carryon over a slow, injury prone and undersized KPD who’s had one good season out of ten is a bit much! Is it due to the fascination around list management? Or the fact he’s currently a Carlton footballer?

Silvagni certainly doesn’t scream a great fit at Collingwood to me and perhaps even a questionable allocation of resources given Ryan, Cochrane, McInnes and TJ are all contracted for at least 2026. It feels a bit like the Doedee move by Brisbane to me.
