To me this feels far more like a Tim Membrey. Which is to say, supporters are more than excited about the possibility of getting a really handy pick up for "free".

That's how I've seen the majority view it.

Some perhaps should have received 1 year deals rather than 2

He’s never had a sustained run of of 6-8 consecutive games to prove himself, largely because we bat so deep in the midfield.

With an aging midfield and continued improvement I doubt delisting is the only possible outcome.

As to the Pokémon list management- I think you’ve missed my HDM comments.

Silvagni in my opinion is a smart moneyball-style acquisition. As others have said, he has his flaws and has also had a poor injury record, however his transition to the backline was well overdue having only managed to kick 89 goals in 128 games.

Being a consistent and effective forward at most levels (but particularly the higher levels) seems to require a player to have an instinct or goal-sense. Whenever I've seen him play prior to this season, he has always played with 100% commitment and he has good physical attributes, however he doesn't have the instinct/creativity/goal-sense required.

While he has been very good this season, a change of scenery may even elevate his game higher, particularly if he's playing with friends in what appears from the outside to be a more supportive and stable environment.

You said his pace was good which is a positive adjective. Being faster than those three is an indicator of having average pace. **** knows why I’m engaging on this one you are the greatest time vortex on this site by far.
