I’d expect a group of supporters who watched us turn Frampton into the gun defender he is right now to probably look at that list in a more positive light

Reckon there’s plenty there for a good recruiting department to work with. Even if it’s as decent depth

There are some interesting names on that list! I don’t know if any are for us, but the following guys all deserve to be in the system next year:

• Z Taylor
• Reidy
• Wiltshire
• Knevitt
• Budarick
• Knobel
• Mitchell
• McVee
• Young

That’s setting aside all of the names that have popped up previously like Serong, Blight and Treloar. The guys in bold I’d be actively chasing (Budarick and McVee are heading elsewhere if they leave).

He has all the tools except that which is probably the most important. Ultimately unless he agitates to get out I expect he stays, but I’d be shopping him around because I don’t think that area improves with time in the system. Doubly so if it helped in acquiring Merrett or a similar type.

That’s what’s so great about our game. I think you’re right on Dempsey and I reckon he’s the most important guy for us to shutdown if we manage to get through and cop them because he plays outside in a way I don’t think we can negate… The truly bizarre element is that if we were to pull a selection it would be Allan to run with him.

I would go Roan, think he has a hardness edge and will commit to the role.
Holmes is the other one, just keep knocking him around all night ,

We desperately need a key forward for next season and an elite mid to take the burden off the older brigade. Pendles and Sidebottom should only play a select number of games during the season…so that they are primed for finals similar to Degoey this year.

Glover turns the ball over way to much in the VFL, and accordingly is not AFL standard IMO.

I'm thinking around pick 35. I'm also doubting freo would be interested. WC would be interested in him and has been half heartedly linked to them. I would just keep him and expect a huge pre season and a change in mindset. He needs a bit of aggression in his demeanour and actually believe that he's better than what he's producing
