Edmund on sen saying we have shown interest in Jack Buller from Swans (199cm key forward).

We have a 2 year contract in front of Checkers, not 1. North apparently offering 3 years.
If that’s true, he signs with us.

Cal Twomey says we are interested in caminiti.

Hope not, he is absolute garbage.
I must be one of the few that doesn’t mind him, (he has bit of go in him).
I reckon our backline team/coaches could improve him.
That said, he did start as a forward so a player with some flexibility is a bonus.

a three year deal would be hard to pass up for a bloke who turns 33 before next season starts.

He played the final few games for the Swans this season, averaged a goal or two a game

Yeah he kicked the 3 against West Coast. Looks a likely type. Someone who can come into our system and improve considerably, as we've seen with DC.
Jack may follow a similar path to DC, coming from Sydney after only playing a game or two and turning into a very, very good player....

If we can get him cheap it's absolute worth a punt, with JSOS and Aleer coming in he'll be pushed out somewhat, even if he moved back forward there's still be no room for him there

I guess the bobby Hill situation will be the first and biggest domino that needs to be settled before we finalise all our plans.

If he feels melbourne is the best place for him moving forward, then we welcome him with open arms and get to work on coming up with a stable plan for his personal life so that his footy career can be as stable as possible.

If he feels that a move away is the best thing for him and his family, then we have to move to be ruthless and fast in any trade discussions.
Any potential bobby compensation could open other trade or draft opportunities which would be greatly aided by not having a prolonged negotiation period.

He was fine, not a world beater but he was solid.

However he’ll be much cheaper and can play the JSOS swingman role minus injuries
I think that’s where we’re looking now. Cheaper & younger options like he and Young

According to google, Tylar young (Richmond) out of contract at end of this season, so you would assume he would be fairly easy to get, if we want him.

Edit: first name is Tylar, not Tyler

I thought he was a decent interceptor this season
He makes Jack Frost look like Nick Daicos by foot! I was never really on board 100% with Silvagni, but that one at least made sense because he can impact both ways. Caminiti is a quintessential caravan… Young though is worth a look.

I can’t say I recall much of his disposal, would have to go have another look.

I would prefer Young regardless tbh

He’s one we’d be bringing in as a KPD. On the theme of guys that can’t kick he’s as poor in front of goal as Lord. His AFL conversion looked good, but technique not so much. He’s a competitor with sticky hands so my only query would be his field kicking which I haven’t seen enough of because he’s a low possession forward.

He's shown visible improvement with each year. Would be a nice cheap pick up

I like him

Can play at both ends and is young. Got some mongrel in him too

But we need young backs so I’d definitely prefer we make him a key back

Still can’t believe your club stole him from us during his draft year.
There we were ready to pounce on bont at pick 6, and your stupid mob took him 2 picks before us 😭😭.
I remember my club being interested in Ben Long but saints got him first that’s the draft for you

Remember Elliott’s chase down tackle goal v St Kilda? He caught Caminiti because he had no 20 metre sideways option on. You literally only want him taking that zero pressure sideways kick. St Kilda are beefing up their defence to move on from him and Howard.
