And doubling down on areas that we have relative strength in (offensive mids, HFs) while neglecting massive list holes that have been present for 5+ years (crumbing forward, attacking half back, key forward) is dumb lunacy.

To the people giving Clarko credit for Mitchell's progress with his team, I just thought of something which works in your favour; kicking ability. They've gone after blokes that can kick, just like they did during Clarko's tenure. D'Ambrosio. Ginnivan. MacDonald. Mackenzie. Day. Amon. Sicily.

Our above average field kickers would be who?

Bergman (VFL level in every other aspect)
Sheezel
Powell (every six games)
Duursma (doesn't get it enough, doesn't work hard enough)
Colby (one-sided squib)

Mitchell does a lot of 1:1 work with his players on their skills as well.

On a positive note the VFL team had a strong win against the Swans. Midfield looked good with Wardlaw and Phillips getting plenty of it. Maley, Teakle, Payne, Harvey and Duursma with multiple goals.
