A pretty high profile Premier League striker's just had the mother of all sulks at the club he's contracted to in order to get to Liverpool and I seem to be the only fan of the destination club who's rubbed the wrong way by it.

Dunno if it's more epidemic than it used to be, but it feels that way

I’m of the strong opinion that if a free agent wants to go to a club that finished the H and A season in the top 4, you cannot just chose them, a trade should be the only way to get there. No trade, well then go to a club outside the top 4. Unless the club losing them is in the top 4 then it doesn’t matter. The middle and lower teams will never compete

Not the top 4 but any team that plays finals...That way if a wild card round is introduced which will include 9th and 10th then it covers all bases..

doesnt help when we cant offer much outside of $$.
Its not like North has exceptional training facilities or a big fan base to play in front of every week.
Improve on field performances and more will come but otherwise we've been shot in the foot.
