Potentially indicates why we'd been keen to move up the order as well, particularly in this years draft.

Top three picks were seen as having a 70 per cent chance of becoming star players, picks 3-10 were 50 per cent, 10-20 were a 35 per cent chance, and teenagers taken in the 20-25 range were a 20 per cent chance of turning into stars.'

Would you have him instead of Maley? Seems to have a bit going for him. Athletic 200cm key forwards with a decent kicking action don’t grow on trees. I was wondering whether we should trade for him a few months ago.

I like Finnbar and he had bit of a look to see the big divide between reserves & seniors this year, Harry does need to improve some areas of his game but in saying that we need a presence on that forward line, the questions that needs to be asked is these, Do we get our key forward from this years draft?

Do we trade for a key forward, someone like Harry that still has development to come? Do we keep Finnbar {which we should}, I mean we picked him up knowing it would be a slow burn, to then delist him after a promising year in which he showed some things that are encouraging would show that either he's not coming along as we hoped or that he is not quite up to AFL standard, after such a limited glimpse it would be a surprise if he was delisted.

So why couldn't we have both? List spots with clubs this year are becoming like gold but its an area that we can be a little forgiving, to ensure when the time comes we wont lack in that area again. The news of a few more delisting's after the Syd will be a little more revealing that's for sure and will make things a little more clearer.

Im not so sure about that, if Merrett wants out the best way to do it is to agitate a move, he needs to create unrest and make it impossible for him to return to * I suspect his manager leaked it.

Think about all the players we’re “linked” to only for them to re-sign with their club on a batter deal who do you think is leaking that information North or the player manager?
