Either he legitimately gets time in the middle and no matter how well he performs, his spot will always be questioned, carrying a sense of doubt about its legitimacy...

Terrible footballer? That’s harsh. Disposal an issue, for sure, but gives it everything and, unusually among his midfield mates, actually gets back to help out in defence.

I don't know. I am just saying that if he gets benched more and more and even pushed back into the VFL then he will lose value not just to himself but to what we could get for him. For example, we aint getting shit for Phillips. Powell is playing a prominent role atm but you would expect McKercher and FOS to move into the midfield group soon so who is going out? I don't think it will be LDU, Wardlaw or Sheezle.

I doubt that his manager would have leaked this without having spoken to other potential clubs. I am guessing that a deal is well on the way.

Perhaps explains the spargo move a bit more. ( position wise, not talent wise )

I've seen several destinations suggested for Jy: Demons, Crows & Eagles so far. All with reasonable rationales as to why he'd potentially go there. I can't help but think this gets done, hopefully we get a decent pick for him.

I'd be more surprised at Gonzo doing a decent deal than Jy hitting someone on the chest from a centre clearance.

Before anyone dreams of a decent return, it would take us paying a sizeable bit of that contract every year for the next 4 years to get a club to hand over something of use. Something tells me I don’t think we’ll fight very hard to keep him either.
