Stating the obvious but I love Treloar. His pressure, tackling etc is great to see. He just wants to play footy, doesn't care what level.

Good team player and potentially mentor too.

Worth another year's contract on that attitude alone. Great influence on younger players around the club.

Smith is an interesting one. Loooks like a more mobile Briggs. By that i mean he will be functionally quick short for a ruckman (look at how low his shoulders are) so it'll take excellent body work and ground ball follow ups to be effective. I trust he will still be effective.

yeh it's why, despite Garcia's absolutely shocking rd 24, I loved that we finished the year with Baker and Garcia in the side. Both can handle the physical aggression of afl level without being slow. Sadly Garcia's composure was no where near it in rd 24 the poor kid.

Hynes is a great one to be bringing along.

I'm not sure who I'd prefer to play in the Prelim between Southport and Box Hill. They're very evenly matched and Southport knocked us off in last year's Prelim.

Those two are currently tied at Half Time so it's more likely than not we'll play the loser in the PF.

No Croft or Buku as marking presence up forward and it doesn't even seem to matter.

There’s so much talent out there today that I genuinely think can make us a significantly better AFL team.

Arty, Dolan, Jacques, Hynes & Sellwood could all be senior regulars next year.

The club simply cannot waste the position of our list by addressing our very obvious but fixable weaknesses.

Don't be fooled by this scoreline. It's almost 3/4 time and there's a very strong breeze blowing to the end Brisbane will be kicking in the final qtr.

I thought it would have been a bit closer due to our lack off quality height in attack. Croft was a big loss. I hope he's available for our Prelim.

Scott looked really flat walking off at half time, most likely a concussion. If so not sure where that pints him rest of finals, his history and club can be very conservative at times with concussion.

With the soft cap, having another virtual development manager at the club can't be a bad thing.
