I know this board has a lot of people who are quick to write off a player but I'm certainly not giving up on Garcia yet.

Before Rd 24 most people were very happy to have him in the side. Just one bad game and he's back to being a whipping boy, list clogger, yadda yadda...

Yes I know it was effectively an EF and you can't afford to have a bad finals game but even Bont has had a couple of those.

Like many, he inhabits that liminal space between being too good for VFL and not good enough for AFL.

The real question is how long we hold onto these types.

And the consensus is that we hold onto them for too long.

But he has another two years to run on his contract. So theres that.

I don’t think Arty would want more than a year. Back yourself to be an automatic selection next year and he can demand more $$.

Old Brighton in the VAFA. I think this is his third year at the Bulldogs now and easily his best year.
