Cumming won't have played enough games to get DPP this time. And will be traded out of our teams by round 18.
Then, I don't know why Scobes then included Cumming in his video ?

Has to be more than 50% of available games

3/5
6/11
9/17

Very click bait tweet.

I wouldn't be counting the change. Henry will swing back, can see Holmes playing mid more next week again.

Holmes hasn't gone above 40% CBA's for 6 weeks now.
Henry in, Henry out. Worpel in, Worpel out. Hasn't changed how Scott plays him. If that continues for another week, he'll get dpp.

Would be lovely if Angry could get FWD dpp, but 4% might be too much ground to make up in one game.
Two more games for him.

They will probably put Pendelbury in midfield next week to ensure he gets 40+

Of course, two more. So hung up on the Holmes 'one more game' thing it translated over.

An 85 for Angry, from 85% FWD starts, would be ideal tonight!

So apparently Holmes just barely over the threshold at the moment. Anyone know what percentage playing defense he would need next week to get DPP?
Back of the envelope calculation (I'm assuming the formula is pretty simple)- assuming his current 35.9% Def is calculated on the last 5 games and given he's 0.9% over the 35% threshold, as long as he spends at least 31 - 32% of next game in defence he should be ok. If his percentage in defence is calculated on the whole season he has even more leeway.

I still don't understand where these % are coming from...

DFS have this breakdown which is also confusing because it's "DEF MID" and "FWD MID"...

eg.

CMac:

They both look like getting MID DPP based on that, but I bet they're way off lol

I think those are a summary of the heat maps for each game.

Positions are based on starting positions at stoppages.

So Reid for example probably starts every CBA as a forward then runs to the ball. But he is still not counted as a midfielder around the ground.

It's another SC-related thing where more transparency would be nice.

I thought it was calculated on the whole season?

So

10 rounds at 35%

10 x 35

Round 11 is unknown so lets call it x

After this weekend his def time will be 350 + x

Spread across 11 rounds, with a target of 33%...

(350+x) / 11 ≥ 33

x = 13

Alright then smartypants, figure this doozy out!

Chris Scott will read this and have him play exactly 1 minute less
