I think Scoresby have made an error, he kicked 89 goals this year. Even if that dropped to 50 next year in Div 2 he would still be an elite forward. Only 1 player kicked more than 50 this season in Div 2 and only 3 players kicked more than 40.

But it absolutely changes Oakleighs outlook, they should play finals with him.

Would depend how much they were paying him too. They have brought in Malone as a key forward who is a mercenary and wouldn’t have come cheap. If they’re paying Amin a fair bit then perhaps they figure they can’t have all their money tied up there.

His cricket commitments as a District 1s cricketer at Ringwood might also be a factor. Wouldn't be able to fully commit to footy preseason while cricket is still going.

I’ve heard Bayswater have hit panic stations with the max exodus caused by the current coaching staff and are throwing big dollars around. Either way that’s a massive coup for the club and could potentially attract more recruits, so very well done to them.
