Not sure the Hawks are world beaters though. Lose clearances and inside 50s to a top 6 side and they lose that one badly IMO.

We still not making the most of clearance/inside 50 dominance.

Love the way he plays. Has to be in the side but as you would expect for a young bloke he made a few really bad defensive errors as well.

Things will change clubs on the right path and recruiting players with the mental like Roberts will only propel us forward

Solid best 22 for years to come (which seems like a reasonable baseline for him) or can he be better than that? Not sure yet.

It might well be true. But it hasn’t been true the last 7 times we’ve claimed to pick a direction and are now “on the right path”. I’ll reserve judgement.

My sense is he lacks the top end speed to really cut the opposition up from half back. Loving his composure, competitiveness and skills though.

Not having a crack here but i am assuming from your profiles creation you have seen success?

I haven't at all so i was a gloomer for a long time since Brads Vozzo and Rosa and even Barham have taken over ive seen improvements in areas that i had huge issues with one of the two biggest were recruiting cough cough Dodo cough cough and development

I have already seen improvement in training standards and in culture and in the recruitment side as well

We are on the right track and chopping and changes coaches etc wont get us there any quicker

So i am looking at it in a glass half full perspective now and i am pretty confident that the direction we are heading in is the right one
