Just proof that we over react re: Drafting sometimes (a lot).

you can't say we are fine for rucks, no more. Natural attrition and unforeseen circumstances could leave us with gaps, our existing guys keep getting older. We also want youer guys keeping the pressure on. Plus - an unpopular view - there's a slim chance that Moran may not turn his two good games into a 200-game ruck career at North. If this kid is good enough, glad to have him join us.

I don't think that many would deny that since 2011 both Goldy and Jacobs have been the consistently been the best ruckmen in the comp over the journey yet neither of them have even been in the AA squad let alone the final team.

You have to keep in mind we'd spent 2 top 10 picks on ruckmen in the previous 5 years and Drew was very capable of playing there too.
