That’s some hyperbole

This is probably the only round in the first 8 that I’d call for him to be rested (away interstate game)

Because I want him fresh to dominate the swans next week guiding us to a win against his old mob sticking it up them for not giving him an extra year

And I want his 300th vs the druggies at home instead of away in Adelaide in round 7

We saw how great it was to have JDs at marvel at home

You don't rest someone so they can play their 300th at home, especially when they played the first 292 for someone else.

Also if he needs a rest in round three in order to be fresh for round four, we probably shouldn't have given him two years.

He is old school when players played with injuries. However, the way the game is now, clubs make players come off with any type of injury,however minor due to litigation down the track. So players are kept back now even if they want to take the field.
