assuming you somehow meant victim blaming, it doesn't. Assuming TT is as bad as is implied, it makes him look worse and sheds more light on DV.

it doesn't change the outcome on this instance, but tha isn't a reason not to have transparency, surely i don't need to elaborate on this...here is a hint about why...why teach history? why record spendings/budget? etc. etc.

The reason your type bang on and on about transparency and facts is so that when they are actually presented you can look for any way to willingly or ignorantly misunderstand and twist them to suit whatever particular worldview you have. Then if unable to do that you simply claim the facts are false and concoct conspiracy theories. It's natural to want to know all the information but let's not bullshit here, you have no interest in the "truth" unless it conforms to what you already believe and its disingenuous to suggest otherwise.

If the texts were released in full all you would do is find a way to downplay TT's behaviour, blame the bad woman who (regardless of whatever her own personality may be) god forbid takes issue with abuse being hurled her way by a partner, then bemoan how 'woke' we are (or some other buzzword) and the cycle would simply continue until you find another hill to die on.

i agree.

but surely you can see that lack of transparency eventually leads to corruption. we largely knew the circumstances in the Clarko instance, there was a hell of a lot more evidence then just someone saying TT sent "nasty texts".

again, don't doubt the right decision was made, but the lack of transparency is concerning.

the reason i ask for transparency is self explanatory. you going to make an argument or just continue with the hypotheticals?

...in saying all that i am curious why you think i would come up with conspiracy theories - what makes you think that? what conspiracy theories have i made in the past?

Rather than bleat on here to all of us (even those in Sunbury), who in the main have well and truly moved on, put your efforts into writing to the AFL/Club, demanding - yes demanding - for transcripts of the texts (names redacted of course) to be published.

They are surely the ones who have the power to bow to your wishes. No-one on BF is in a position to do so. Its not our fault that you two posters don't know all the nitty gritty - correction, highly intellectual discourse - that went on in those exchanges of messages.

We others can do nothing in this matter (apart from look forward to the season that is about to start).

Having been here for nearly 23 years now, might I respectfully suggest to you, that one of either I, or one of the mods, or our great maker, will make that decision for me, whenever that time comes. You stick to your "career path" and leave mine to those who are eminently more qualified than you will ever be, to make that decision

Now as to the "cope harder", which I think was directed at Ligma. In my view Ligma copes beautifully here and is a very highly respected poster.
