No, I see a lengthy suspension as more incentive for him to leave at the end of the year. Or for opposition clubs to gain more leverage to steal him. We wont offer him a big contract if this happens.

I'm not happy with the thought of losing one of our 5 best players because he's a immature a-hole, even though it seems inevitable at this point.

Not necessarily - If it comes to him leaving because of this stuff I'd lay money that other clubs will receive informal directions from the AFL that he is damaged goods and to stay away - there's also the possibility of a very heavy suspended sentence to be imposed which will make it very risky for other clubs to take him on.

I’m sure he’ll be offered contracts. No one is offering him a “big” contract if he’s done a second time. It’ll be a moderate “prove it” deal.

The ability is there, but there’s no track record of putting anything consistent together on the park either.
