Yes, and at the same time, most of the top sides are starting to move away from the 3 talls in the forward line.

With the way the game is trending, Pink's position should be redundant from next season anyway.

We would've already had Larkey, Teakle and Zurhaar. That's tall enough.

It's our small forwards where we are completely lacking.

and darling's forward pressure is elite

i think larkey, darling and teakle are locks for round 1

teakle's spot will come under pressure as that second ruck third tall forward over the year from Finnbar and CCJ

Two things that those "luminaries" sitting around the round table, seem to have forgotten, are firstly, we gave up Pick 67, which the Eagles might not even use and secondly, if he doesn't perform to the level our club hopes he will, he will get dropped to the Reserves. Pretty easy really.

I know there's been a lot of negativity (at least there was when it was initially rumoured) but you should be pleased. This is a good acquisition and Darling's reputation in the broader AFL community has always been unfairly dim.
