Or you can think of it as a golf shoe to the face from Channel 7. Worst AFL coverage ever. I went to the Port game and when I got home watched a recording from Channel 7. They were playing replays when there is actual action going on. Did not see the Waite goal after he marked on the line. Did not see Chad and Kane turning over the ball after playing backyard footy with each other. Many other moments lost cos of channel 7 incompetence.

McAvaney has to go. His endless streams of pointless, inane statistics 'will be the biggest third quarter score this year and only the fourth time against a team higher on the ladder blah blah blah' has to stop. This is shit he dribbles on about as the ball is flying from end to end with no comment on the players involved or their skills or their decision making.

It was at its worst during the Saints game and Cometti was equally bad. Once the margin has blown out they start this ridiculous musing about macro events like the ladder, future games, attendances and other garbage. That's fine if you are being belted but now that we are winning again I want the game called accurately and appropriately. I'll be the judge of whether the steam has gone out of things.

Lol like when Motlop took that mark. Bruce just does a 20 second "oooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" like he just jizzed and then about 3 minutes later he says "oh that was Motlop by the way".

Absolutely ridiculous that they don't use Main Event for games like these.

By the way, we have a Sunday game next week too but 7 has opted to cover it, albeit delayed an hour.

I live in Perth and I bought Foxtel IQHD the whole box and dice, so I can watch AFL football mainly.

As a Carlton supportere, just in the last couple of weeks, we did not get any live coverage of Carlton Collingwood, and wont get Carlton Hawthorn this week, but we will get to have a live broadcast of the Eagles Saints game on Free to air, AND on Foxtel. I am so sick of it, viewers in NSW and QLD get better AFL coverage that WA.

It is pathetic.

Does anyone have an email address for someone from the AFL who I can write to?

And I encourage other footy supporters in WA to do the same.

I am guessing CH 7 has got this game as well? What a joke, why are CH 7 getting all our games all of a sudden, hate the ****ing ads, hate the way the ads come back to a so called live game and we have missed about 15 seconds of play, ****ing disgrace CH 7.

Didn't the CEO get some huge bonus because of the way the game is being handled. They kept bringing up the TV rights as proof of what a great job he has done. Obviously they didn't ask a majority of non Victorian supporters. And to think they are trying to expand the game in Qld. I don't pay $100 a month to watch the same game on two different channels.

The other week 7 missed the opening bounce because they panned over to a bit of push and shove in the back line. .. They choose the worst time to shift cameras and constantly miss action like goal line stops, etc. ..

Have to agree that Fox has the best coverage.

Ch7 is the worst of the free to air networks.

What annoyed me the most after Sunday's game, CH7 went straight to the news at 5.57pm.

There was plenty of time to show the boys singing the song after the game.

At least I got to see it on Fox.

Sorry to dredge up this thread, but just watching the Swans-Dogs replay on One HD. Poor old Kelli Underwood. She and at least one other (didn't catch the name) have that awful rising inflection thing going on. It's times like this I appreciate, for all their faults, the professionalism of blokes like Commetti and McAvaney.
