Terrible. He is a good player when he gets a good run at it, but hasn't been able to since 2013. Hopefully it's not the end for him but with his injury history and the severity of the injury the game might be past him by the time he fully recovers. Best of luck Reece

That really sucks for Reece. Was playing his best footy and this happens. Jack spoke glowingly of him after the game and was awesome to see the team get around him as he was stretchered off the ground.

It appeared to me as though Franklin knew he had given away the free kick, and heard the umpire's whistle, before continuing with his tackle anyway.

I am not suggesting that Franklin tried to cause this injury.

What I am suggesting is that Franklin's gross disrespect for the rules of the game played a part in this injury occurring.

Will anything happen to him as a result? Of course not.

A few years ago, Lindsay Thomas played within the rules of the game and caused a similar injury to this. Rules were changed as a result.

In this case, Franklin had already broken the rules, and continued breaking them, leading to this injury.

Good to see the Tigers players getting around Conca once he was lifted onto the stretcher mobile.

It doesn't matter mate. Witch hunt doesn't help Conca. Just let it be.

I cant stand franklin, but he did nothing wrong, was a freak injury and it happens in contact sports.
