This makes me sad but its hard to picture a situation where this isn't the end of Travis at Collingwood. He has carried our forward line for years but its difficult to see him being able to recapture his form for us.

Jeez this really would seem to be the end for Trav at Collingwood. I'd say it's seems to have come really fast, and in a way that's true, but in another way it's been a long slow death of a thousand cuts since 2013. Last years bursts of good form were the last twitches of life.

I still think us signing that 5 year deal was a massive sliding doors moment for us. Imagine what we could have done with that money and the draft picks we would have got from Freo.

He has given some great years of service to the club. As a premiership player, club champion, and All Australian he should always be warmly thought of. But, I think it's the right call to move him on at the end of this year.

Maybe he can go to Freo or Richmond and play some good football there, but I honestly doubt it. I don't think he has the hunger to turn it around, but maybe a change of scenery will refresh that. Ross might be able to get something out of him, although I think Ross would have even less time than Buckley for some of what you glean Trav might be like.

The sad thing is people can bash Cloke as much as they like and in fairness he does deserve a lot of criticism, you are spot on though we are the worst kicking team in the comp, how many times I have seen a ball drop short of him or dumped on his head in a 2 on 1 is ridiculous.

Cloke can only have himself to blame for his predicament, for years we have been saying he's too inconsistent and form doesn't warrant a paycheck he gets.
If he's happy to remain at the club beyond this season I would be telling him to get back to being his old self. Get on your bike Cloke and start demanding the footy.

I think the whole league is outperforming cloke at the moment...maybe there's a Brisbane guy in the local queensland league who is toughing it out
