I watched him against Richmond in the VFL and the game he played in the AFL and both games looked way off afl level
regarding the other 8 games i dont know as i dont watch Norths VFL games but watch all AFL games but if he has been great the surely he plays AFL

He’s a skinny key position 18 year old.

He forced his way into the afl team after 20 disposals and 9 marks in his first vfl game. And 27 touches and 7 marks in his second vfl game.

Those 2 games equal simms total vfl output across 5 games.

He struggled along with the team that night. But no, he’s not ready for afl yet.

But you said he’s struggling at vfl level as a matter of fact, that we now know you based off one vfl game post concussion where he got another big hit.

That’s clearly untrue, as much as you want it to be fact.

I'd be surprised if the outcome happens early enough to materially impact their fates. One if not both will be gone before he has played 50 games IMO.

I’m completely fine with continuing to play him up forward but to suggest it’s just North trying a natural forward down back is completely false.

That he did as his twin was forward,however Matt kicked goals for fun when they played him forward in the TAC cup

First real look at him as a forward, since he arrived. The skills and smarts are clearly there, he's shown promose at both ends now.

Matlock absolutely has the ability to make it as an AFL footballer, but I'm not confident that we'll be able to develop him to meet his potential.

One of them should be given the arse monday and the other has 12 months to prove the team can win 8-10 games or he’ll be on his bike too. Essentially, they wont be around to find out
