It’s a long season for a first year player. But with the shite VFL schedule and this concussion and other injury back in April, 12-14 games and some finals action might be a good tick for season 1. It was not a good move to elevate him to the one’s so early. Let him hit the weights and learn more of his craft in the VFL.
