Well , you hit the answer in your last sentence and how we planning on playing Logue, Corr, Pink, Comben, W Dawson & Whitlock.

And up forward having Larks and a just starting out Trembath. I like it and if we're spending pick #3 I want bang for buck. I think his ability to cover ground should see him becoming an option for our fav dump kick up the line. And still retaining marking options in the forward line. If we can find an outlet for the dump kick, we're half a chance, the turn over in no mans land is killing us. If we can even neutralise that contest and reset, we're much better off.

How'd it be if we could find a secondary position for Goad given his athleticism and speed....to be a marking target for the kick in, dishing off to McKercher and running with him.

Well it's a little simple really KC, we have Logue, Comben, Dawson, Pink and Corr. I don't mind Corr and Logue and I realise plenty on here aren't fans of either . And that's fine as we are all entitled to an opinion.

So then we spend #3 with change returned for another KPD to assist Comben, Corr, Logue, Dawson and Pink. At some point one must consider they cannot be all that shite, there must be something else amiss.

We only have Larkey up forward and Trembath who won the B&F on average votes per game . So I think having an athletic type to push up the ground offers us something we are currently severely lacking.

I don't expect miracles next season and feel it will be 2027/28 before we see Whitlock start to blossom. I'm ok with that.

Yes well he needs to improve his marking, and the word is he's currently a ruck only. But has time on his side, I don't know if we will ever play 2 fulltime rucks, it to me seems rather extravagant.

But the truth is , what the farking would I know. But I do know I'm 100% over us being a laughing stock, so chop farking chop NMFC

Commentary seems to be that if the sub rule goes and it's 5 on the bench, some teams are seeing that 5th spot as second ruck. Not getting more rotations, so it's probably a limited minutes role anyway. Could be a nice spot for him to get to AFL speed.

Ah man, it'd be unbelievable. Goad & Whitlock as the new D Moore & J Howe combo in defence. And then with Trembath up forward with Larkey resembling Brereton & Dunstall. The midfield we know is sorted. It's hard not to get excited.
