A few positives on the trade at this point in time:

• Kid can put on size. You can see it.
• 1 season of development already into him.
• Fits a need. No clear options of a similar size in this draft that we would have access to with the pick we traded.

I'm still happy with the swap - nothing has changed there. Keep going well Matlock.

There is a lot riding on Whitlock’s shoulders. Him, Duursma and Wardlaw too for that matter.

Considering we cut our rebuild short last year for 2 35 year olds and 1 garden gnome, this list build can’t afford any more top 10 picks not to work out.

Good but needs to coincide with him smashing the VFL and getting AFL games in 26.

Has the frame to build into being a big unit.

Give him another 4 pre seasons in the gym & let's see how big he ends up.

Remember that Thilthorpe really became a monster in the last year & a half. He's heading into his sixth season.
