Senior List
Seeing as Vossy is no longer on the front page of the board, I figure that we may as well move on to the next bloke.
There was a bit of talk that Fly had considered going back to SA, how true this talk was, we'll never know (unless some here can shed some light on the subject).
I think the McRae pace is the most important part of his game.
It is a bit like the scenario with Molloy last year. Opposition clubs put one of their top defenders on Molloy in case he decided to go balistic, which meant that one of the other forwards had a lesser defender on him.
Usually it took half the game for the oppposition coach to see what was happening, when a younger forward, like Headland or Browny stood up, and would then make a move, far be it too late.
McRae is a bit the same. While he might not be in the not 5 or 6 players every week, he still is usually tagged by another top midfielder. This then frees up some of the younger blokes.
When McRae does play well, the Lions usually win. He can set up goals, or if not, kick them himself.
He is also good at getting free kicks. He is not frightened to go into the pack, even if it means he might get his head ripped off, or scratched off
. When he feels that some bloke his got a hand around his kneck or shoulder, he throws his head back like the bloke had hold of his ears, a bit like the Power's Gavin w***ers (but no way near as obviously or as often) and a bit like Carey too, however McRae doesn't carry on like a pork chop if he doesn't get the free.
Anyway, that is enough from me
