Look at last quarter - super clean below his knees, moves through traffic and dishes off to Caldwell for one EFC goal. Clunks a big overhead mark for the next. As an inside 50 forward he’s pretty much the complete package.

Just to add to the Langford love, not only is he having a great season, he's putting in better performances against the top sides in the competition

It’s so good to have a player who’s having a career year AFTER they’ve been paid a long term deal.

The way it's selected you'd have to convince the panel he's a mid. Nobody in their right mind thinks Kyle us a mid.

Now he realises that he's actually a massive unit, and that throwing himself at the footy is a serious amount of Newtons coming an opponent's way, I'm genuinely excited for his next 100 games.

Langford has just been incredible this year. I reckon he could just about take out the B&F or come mighty close (probably behind Merrett) but I'd put him ahead of Martin, Redman and Ridley (as good as they have been at times).

Strong, clean and efficient, Essendon need to do something about defensive depth because he must stay forward, he's Mr Consistent especially next to Stringer and Wright

It’s a pity that last years hamstring injury seems to have taken some of the distance off his set shots.

I used to back him in from any mark inside 50 but now he almost exclusively passes from that 45m range

The lead up link play stuff has been nice but those couple of marks he’s taken steaming out from FF (kneed Aliir in the head and then another yesterday), that’s a level of aggression I haven’t associated with him to date. Very welcome development and something we’re seeing from a few of our nice private school boys.

He is putting together a great season. 40 goals so far and currently in the top 10. Imagine if we didn’t play him back a few times this year.

I can’t believe it’s taken so long to keep him there. One of our most reliable kicks and he also uses his body well in one on one contests.

Congrats on a great year so far. Not anyone’s whipping boy anymore!
