Lol you know you’re struggling for content when you pull out the ‘champ’ card.
Nope, struggling to understand why you would even bother posting that he did 1 good thing in the match when he clearly did more. Obviously you're not a fan, just a lazy critic.

What metric are you using? Are you associating hitting a target or laying a tackle as one ‘good thing’.

Again his numbers over the course of the season see him tracking ‘below average’ for nearly every metric. I’ll take the facts, you can go down the biased delusion route.

You began on the biased delusion route with your "1 good thing" claim, and then head of down the over the course of the season track. You just don't rate him, and your claim of 1 good thing in the game is still wrong.

He ranks around the same level as Kako at Tullamarine; obviously more pre-seasons, but the same number of games.

Ranks average for goals and above average for tackles, which from where we've been with small forwards, is an upgrade.

I doubt for example Kayne Turner or Mahony would have converted that set shot

Turner would have in 2017.

He had 5 tackles to go with his 12 touches and a goal but some of his tackles were in the back half. Wish all our forwards worked that hard to defend.

fair enough, may well depend on point in time. At the end Kayne was struggling for 40, esp. with a wet ball

Anyone that thinks he's a Turner L4L are wrong.

He's more skilled than Turner was and is a lot quicker. He had an absolute shocker 3 quarters but lifted in the last.

Hasn't played 20 games yet.
I think Turner is copping it pretty raw on here.

His skills were ok (marking very good at times) and he more than played his role when we were a competent side.

Unfortunately his debut season was his best.

2017 was his best season. His debut year was second best.

For a 20 yo playing his 13th game, stat's aren't that bad really, not counting the sub's, only Wardlaw with 61% had less TOG than him wth 62%, kicked a goal, 5 tackle's, and a clearance not too shabby, don't know about pressure acts etc, but appears to be doing his share, it aint like we've got Cyril Rioli waiting to replace him, some hard markers here.

he has what you can’t teach

the errors in his game can easily be fixed with good coaches and more time in the system
How do you teach someone "class"? Do you think the classy small forwards of the AFL were taught to be classy? And then you mention "good coaches" - he's under the wing of Xavier Clarke. Another major issue.

Can't question his chasing & tackling though. Those things you can teach. But he already has them.

we dont know who we have becasue we dont give them a chance. i think maybe try Harvey for Fisher

This guy does my absolute head in with some of the stuff he does. But he does do some good stuff too

But please clean up some of this disposal and decision making. If you can kick a goal or two each week that won't matter as much :)
