In both sentences, he totally ignored his own role in the team meaning he has already checked out.

The ship has sailed, hopefully we pump up his pay to a band 1 and hope other teams bite and match otherwise we force him to make the decision to leave on less money.

Go look at the match rating, it's the youngsters who are consistently in the top 5 of our team.

Much better to get rid off a few we are critically relying on but unreliably performing, we must better let the youth lead and support then with some good midtier players

Our best performing players are the youngsters, let them be the lead and the rest support them, time to recognise the players we have a properly build a team around them.

We are not throwing them to the wolves, we will have to get in a lot of approppiate midtier players with experience.

We can acceleate the rebuild by taking in the top end draft and get the rest via free agency, delisted players and mature age draft to fill in the support positions.

That's the approach i sense the club will go forward.

Zurhaar ain't.

If the AFL really want to help us out then they would give us first round compensation for him.

It won't happen , but pick 1 and 2 would complete the rebuild

We will still be picking mids and forget to pick quality KPF talent. If it hasn’t happened once on 6 years then it never will happen. And maybe you can trade in KPP when you were at Hawthorn, Clarkson, but you are now coaching at the smallest and weakest and most hated team in the land, where we usually have to pay 150-200% to bring anything in.

Not drafting KPF early has to have been one of the dumbest collective decisions made by our club.
