That’s the plan with all these Trump judges.
Not sure it matters when it is heard as is a State case and the President doesn't have any pardon powers for State crimes.

Bit of tough luck if found guilty and looking for a pardon in Georgia though:

Georgia is one of the four states (Georgia, Nebraska, Nevada, Utah) whose governor does not have the authority to grant clemency, although the governor retains indirect influence by virtue of his power to appoint board members.
A pardon is an official statement attached to the criminal record that states that the State of Georgia has pardoned the crime. To apply, the applicant must wait until at least five years have elapsed since the applicant was released from supervision (including probation and/or parole).

Trump will change all the rules, you know it.

Looking extremely doubtful that Trump will take the witness box in NY trial.

Take Trump out and all defence teams would do the same. Braggs case is the only one we'll have a decision on before November. Smith mishandling evidence has buggered that case for now as well.

Trump will change all the rules, you know it.
Then GA will claim States Rights!
Then either a) their legislature and/or state supreme court will make a snap decision to allow it, OR b) it will be appealed to the SCOTUS where they will swing around (yet again depending on the politics) and deem it important enough to be considered a federal issue (in this instance only of course)
:confusedv1:

They wont debate, he will squib out.

If they do, it needs to be after 8 pm.
Latest reports he's already going to the playbook to muck it up. Apparently threw out he'd ready for a Fox debate with Fox mods in Oct, though that was not in the original agreement. Biden's team says whoa there, that's not right, then Trump responds with 'if they can back out then I can back out' or something like that.

FFS who cares what people want to call themselves.. I call my daughters dude, and bro, and they call me queen (clutch pearls)
It's going to make police work a real pain in the arse if they have to arrest a witness at a line up for saying "he did it".
