You're going for a job in a supermarket, the standards aren't exactly high. Just rock up in smart casual with neat hair, I did the interview in jeans and a shirt and I was fine.
On a side note I interviewed for both Coles and Safeway at the same time. Coles had a 5 minute one-on-one interview where after glancing at my report they tried to get me to do night-fill while Safeway had a 1 hour group interview folowed by a 15 minute one-on-one store interview asking me everything they could think of from available hours to what sports I liked. Anyone think thats a massive difference in recruitment process. Oh yeah, and Safeway also showed us a 10 year old presentation on a projector about how good safeway is and its history.
