I don’t mind Daniel, but some of his turnovers are completely destroying us.

I just hate what we coughed up for him. When all the ducks line up it’s likely that he cost us a top 5 pick.

It has and the price was too high, but we probably would've traded it to get Matt and Jack with the Daniel pick imo.
But I guess we'll never truly know the alternate timeline of the Daniel deal falling through.
It's not looking great. We'll cover it over by trading up with the two R2's and/or bringing forward the F1 and just having no 1st rounder in 2027 imo, but it's piling up the list management mistakes, but the whole footy dept. signed off.
We'll see where we end up at the end of the year, but sliding from pick 5 to 19 ain't looking too flash right now.

I understand bringing in an experienced AA, premiership player and his teammates need to move up the ground, as that is partly the issue, but right now he ain't delivering good decision making in the D50.

It’s that his indecision is about as helpful as David rodan running himself into trouble and his teammates have no ****ing idea where he is going to go.

That and we chip it around inviting pressure.

Has been extremely underwhelming. Only took a couple weeks for opposition clubs to work out how to play him (Bevo gave them the blueprint round 1 with Vandemeer).

Similarly to Chom, we just cannot carry these guys that don’t want to defend.

Don't want to bash the bloke, but has surprised me just how slow he is running in defensive transition and poor at tackling he is. Most of it is related to height. Need to find a way to protect him more and require less defense

I agree that we probably would have traded our F1 whether or not we took Daniel. We always seemed keen to offload it for some reason. As I see it, we took Daniel instead of Jack Whitlock - which is fairly symbolic of Brady's approach to list management. He'll go for the short slow guy over the key forward every single time.

He had three turnovers from 25 disposals. half as many as LDU from the same amount of kicks. Sheeze, playing a similar role had 6 turnovers from 34 disposals.

Which becomes problematic for CD who can either try to pinpoint it 15 metres or helicopter it 30. There doesn't seem to be many other variations in his repertoire (aside from a good running goal in the preseason against melbourne)

Sheezel is in Struggle Town. NM fans were carrying on like pork chops that Sheezel doesn't get the plaudits of Nic Daicos. Well, they are poles apart at the moment. And to be honest, Daicos' resume is a hell of a lot more impressive than Harry's.

I love Harry, and I feel for him playing with this current group. It would be soul-destroying.

I must be suffering from the Mandela Syndrome (or maybe the Stockholm Syndrome). Possibly both. I felt as though there were more turnovers than that but possibly, I'm thinking that the next bloke in the possession chain could have been the one to turn the ball over.

Thats half of it too. Daniel puts guys under pressure so that his disposal may as well have been the turnover.

As someone who regularly goes through each possession and disposal of a decent number of our players, what they count as not a turnover is cooked. Not sure what the metric is but Ive seen ones that hit the ground before going to labelled and not a turnover, and if there's any contest at all (even if you kick to a contest where we are outnumbered 5 to 1 and we lose said contest) the AFL app seems to log it as not a turnover also.

Dursmaa - not quite. But he's had extenuating circumstances through injury.

Goad is going ok. Slow burn though (some were suggested he could be our Darcy - which is a no)
