Oh yeah because the AFL.com.au reporters are always right???

He was good. Take your blinkers off
He’s shit.

The kickout where he got confused, fell over and then kicked it to no one, sums up what a disaster this bloke is for this side.

Can’t defend and can’t kick, I’m not sure what his role is? He brings absolutely zero to this team.

What about the 30 other possessions he had? Or we just conveniently ignore them and focus on the couple of bad moments????

His ball use was excellent today and set up almost of our dangerous and attacking play. Ofc because of his height he's going to be in trouble when he's one on one but that's not his fault directly and more a team/system breakdown.

Most of them were shit kick outs or cheap crab possessions.

i think I might have saw one good kick towards the end of the game. The rest were junk football with no hurt factor.

Mate, it’s not like he is bringing any creativity or flair to the table. He is usually kicking to the pocket or to the HB boundary.

This is in contrast to earlier in the year where his 25-30 metre kicks were being used in bound to change the angles.

We have other players we could developing for his role.

Straight after that the commentators were talking about it and they said you could tell when we were playing footy cos he and Kerch both do that and then they said that it had lot to do with poor movement up the ground from m ids and forwards.

He had 3 kick in possessions and went at 91% disposal efficiency. Did you know that?

32 possessions , 91% disposal efficiency, only then 3 kick in possessions but nah he's shit.

At least I'm not biased unlike the Daniel haters.
Haha this is the first time I’ve really criticised him. If AFL footy was SuperCoach or a stat sheet Daniel would a f*cking Brownlow medalist.

I actually thought he wasn't bad today. Not good mind you, just not bad.

There seems to be a deliberate effort to get the ball in his hands at every possibility, which is beyond baffling, but today he cleared the low bar of being 'better'.

Well, if you do well in Supercoach, it's a pretty decent indication you're not a shit player like most of those here think he is.....

I also thought he had a reasonable game today. Still struggled defensively one on one and he doesn't break the lines like McKercher does but he was OK. Still think he is a liability in the back line. Still think he is an ordinary recruit we coughed too much for. But today he played a reasonable game. :stern look

WHen he gets caught out 1 on 1 with a taller player (which is everybody) you just know he is going to lose the contest. A few of those moments stuck out like dogs balls today & reminds you of his limitations.

But aside from that he was good around the ground and creative with the ball. Set up a few goals as well.

He does some awesome work in close but beyond that he is a massive liability.
Is better up the ground a bit, but there is nowhere for him to play.

We aren't moving fwd with him in the side unfortunately.

Not his role. He's more a link player than run and carry.
He also can't defend in the air, tackle, chase. Or intercept.

He was fine as a Link up player today, maybe.

The opposition don't care if he has the ball as he isn't damaging with his possessions.

He is a net negative in the side as he is so limited.
