He’s no good at anything but accumulating useless stats.

First things first - remove the helmet as it’s a beacon for the opposition to kick towards as they know he can’t defend.

His kickouts and field kicking does not open play or gets us out in the open - probably has only down that a handful of times.

Looks like this trade is gonna cost a gun half back in Lindsay - he’d be perfect for us.

Good call on the Helmet. Can we get some alterations to it with a 12 inch wig in a Twisted Sister style. They will fool them all 😎

I am convinced our transition from D50 will improve 100% as soon as he aint a part of it, i feel sorry for the other defenders watching the pill sail back over their heads almost without fail every time he is the distributor, must be dropped to VFL asap
The irony being that he was brought in to improve our D50 transition.

I thought he tried his guts out and wasn't half as bad as people are describing. For some reason our people just haven't warmed to him.
If you lob onto other Club’s pages the general theme is WTF happened to this guy. He used to be so good and has fallen off a cliff. Trying your guts out on his contract is a given. The performance atm is just not acceptable and is costing games, and the development/confidence of those around him.

He started becoming a liability in 2023. He used to be very good at picking out an option but turnovers really started to creep into his game and he became a defensive and offensive liability due to his pace and size.

Needs to wind up to get any distance on his kicks which opposition are reading really well. As far as I can tell, he has been brought in as a stop gap because we seemed to be rotating a few players around HBF.

Interestingly, Cooper had more impact and I think we've spent a 2nd rounder as a desperate move to fill depth instead of considering our internal options. 1.68m HBF is a recipe for disaster when the game is in the balance. Cooper is 180cm which is a great starting point for HBF types.

I'm puzzled as to why we got Daniel. Did we have to recruit for all three lines? Just way too desperate of a move that didn't need to be made.

Daniel has been serviceable but I reckon Darling and Parker have been more impactful in general which is crazy considering the age differences.

I wouldn't be against giving Daniel a rest. It helps with restructuring our backline a tad to make it less vulnerable height wise.

Daniel has been a liability all year, he get 25-27 touches a game but very few add value in transition out of the back half, why on earth do they have him kicking out from goal, most times he runs out goes left then goes right before kicking to the opposition it does my head in.

He's like Jack Mahony but gets the ball way more, which is actually a detriment

208 games experience and he can't handball to an open Riley Hardeman, he's not even looking FFS.View attachment 2358876
Instead, with his blistering pace, he tries to take the Bulldogs players on only to result in a turnover…

He's f*cking useless.
I think that one happened moments after burning Colby who was running past on his left, only to hack left foot kick it 25 metres forward to a dogs player. Clarko needs to swallow his pride on this one and just make it stop.

I noticed this last night. The final nail from my point of view (up until this point I have remained pretty neutral on him) was when he played on from Full Back ran forward and then happened to find a target backwards. I was done with him immediately and I apologise to All in Sunbury who saw it earlier than I. From the bottom of my heart.

We just can't move forward with this cat, especially taking kick ins.

you do realize he finished 4th in their B/F in 2023 in front of Treloar Naughton English and only 3 votes behind Richards for 3rd.

If the dogs had Caleb Daniel, we win that game.

I don't fear it. I KNOW we've cocked it up. This is at least the third incarnation of the rebuild after the previous two were cocked up, and whilst this one is going slightly better, it's only in that it couldn't be worse than the other two. We have a sprinkling of talent across the ground, but standards are low and a lot still has to happen for us to get out of the bottom few. We lost by 8 goals last night and my first instinct was that it was OK. Nine years of being mediocre or worse will do that and the path to the top still seems light years away.
A rebuild where we’ve acquired Wardlaw, Sheezel, Kerch, FOS, Hardeman and Will Dawson?

Where finals-worthy talents have been unlocked in Xerri, Curtis, Comben and Stephens?

I’m not writing it off just yet.
