Vfl standard player who not only hasn't missed a game this year but hasnt remotely been close to being dropped. And we wonder why we sit where we are. Standards are extremely high at NMFC

Many suspected it - but I don't think it can be denied that this trade was one of the worst in living memory (CCJ the only other comparable one that comes to mind).

Even if he cost us nothing, it still gives me the sh1ts that we keep playing him. Seems a good bloke, but he is not up to AFL in almost any way. His limited kicking and the options he takes break any flow or momentum we want to create out of the back line. He cannot defend.

We can't keep being told things will turn, and we're on the right track. This implies that mistakes haven't been made. Mistakes have been made, and playing this guy is one of them (forgetting the trade even). To get any respect, the club needs to admit mistakes, and playing this guy every week is a glaring one the club should admit to, he needs to be dropped. Back to the ressies, break glass option only. (If the club wanted to not only admit a mistake, but make a statement, they would pay him out - along with a few others).

The sunk cost double down on CD is off the charts. Not in a million years would he have survived this long at ANY other club without being dropped.

You only truly get the full picture of what a defensive liability is when watching live. When posters note he's the worst defender in the comp it's not an exaggeration. Worst I've ever seen at this level. Quite literally the shortest and slowest in the league, I wish we'd given up a 4th rounder for him because I'm absolutely fn certain that pick 25 has become a colossal egg on the face the club refuses to acknowledge.

Putting this absolute fraud into the midfield in the 3rd and 4th was an absolute white flag move from Clarko. I would have rather they kept an Auskicker on the field to at least have a crack than keep this guy on the park.

He is a liability everywhere he goes. He has no discernable skill. He has no composure. No physicality. Nothing.

This guy is the absolute definition of insanity. We keep doing it and getting the same result.

When I watched the kangas get spanked repeatedly by the bulldogs over the last 8 or so seasons Daniel has been a crucial player in their side. Every single time I saw him play I wished that we had him in our team. I don't understand the negativity towards him by some on here. My son in law is a rusted on bulldog and he is gutted that they've lost him.
