J Brown, easy opponnent admittedly, hardly a player really.

Brown ran him ragged, was at every contest, pushed him outside 50 every time.

I know this week will be full of Vez and Moore.

Just thought he deserved a mention.

He had a bit of help tonight but was very good in a few one on one situations. It just goes to show that when our midfield doesn't allow the opposition to do as they please that LRT is a capable defender.

He is more than capable, and is in fact, one of a 3, who has any chance against Brown.

I agree. I must say, Grundy and LRT looked great tonight, and I know I've been critical of them in the past. But you know what? Grundy played in the forward line! I used to love him in the forward line - my first 'real' year as a supporter was '06 when he debuted and I was there when he kicked three and I got as excited about him as I am now about Patty.

But the likes of Ablett, Barry, LRT and Buchanan are just dead weight when th rest are struggling. It's like we have 14 players when those guys are all on at once in a bad game.

As I said in another thread, I made the effort to pay close attention to LRT this week. He was very good. I think we just need to give the guy a definite role and give him the top job every week.

He role simple is to push that player outside 50, and spoil at every opportunity. I think he can do that pretty successfully.
