Starting to think Saunders hamstring treatment and rehabilitation methods need some serious work. How many strings have been busted this season, especially LTI strings. FM, a hamstring is usually 1-4 weeks, NMFC hamstrings - 5-12 weeks...
Mentioned this ages ago. Think its more to do with overload in the preseason than management due to the number of tendons going ping. Dan Meehan nicked off to the Nets at the right time.
Maybe preseason @ Utah was worth it after all?..

Pretty sure Saunders isn't there alone practicing some voodoo, would have a host of doctors and specialists treating him and collectively determining what is the best course of action is for rehabilitation and recovery.

Players just break down for a variety of different reasons.

Our hammys are horrendous injuries compared to the league wide average i would think. Not saying Saunders is responsible, just that the collective might want to look at other methods for prevention, treatment and rehab. It may be an aberration, but if they keep occurring it would point the finger firmly at the clubs practices i would think

Do we? I don't know if we do or not. I am sure the clubs that play at Docklands would have more soft tissue issues in general due to the surface being harder than other stadiums but I am not sure to what extent that is.

This is the guy we need up and about. Exactly the kind of match winner we're screaming out for and he's on our list. If he is fit and firing next year it'll go a long way to us improving rather than declining...

I have zero expectations on him. It would be a massive win to even get a consistent string of games out of him, let alone have him being a match winner.

We're yet to see what he can even really do outside of a few glimpses.

At the moment his career is Harperesque

We did have a extra hard preseason this year:- remember we wanted to be up and running at the start of the season.

Very concerned about the amount of repeatedly injured crocks we are going into battle with in 2017!

Garner, Turner, Waite and some major question marks over Jacobs and Wright in this respect! Also we've taken Ahern so one short already!!

We had a lot of issues with Tarrant as well, but he has come good.

I'm not concerned at all. We needed to make some major changes to our list and we did. I'm actually really excited to see what Clarke, Mountford, Hrovat, Williams and the other new players can bring to the team. If we learned anything from the Dogs GF win it the importance of a quality list with depth players who can cover (and excel) when injuries strike.
